WINWINWIN – Help us to win money for buying estates
HELP NEEDED – The Archiv Frau und Musik (Archive for Women in Music at Frankfurt/Main, Germany) is able to win money for buying women’s estates
With more than 1,800 “collected” women composers from 9th (!) until 21st century and more than 25,000 media units (sheets, handwritings, books, dissertations, grey literature) this archive – founded in 1979 – is the oldest, largest and most important archive for women’s music worldwide.
The “Nassauische Sparkasse” (savings bank) created a “175spenden” (“175donations”) project: 175 associations are able to win 1,000 €. Every single association with the most “likes”!
We applied with the project “Estates of women composers to Frankfurt!” – we want to buy important estates for our archive. So we need a little help from our friends: from today (15th march) until 15th September 2015 you can DAILY like our project!
